Sarawak Information Systems (SAINS), once again demonstrated its commitment to the fostering of ICT talent in Sarawak’s youth by sponsoring six Best Student and Best Graduate awards for the best of the best of Swinburne Sarawak’s students in the field of ICT.
The awards were presented to the top students in the field of Computer Science and Information Communication Technology at Swinburne’s recently held convocation Ceremony and consisted of a monetary prize and a SAINS certificate for each student respectively.
In the field of Computer Science, the recipients of the awards were Abeer Abdul Rasool Ali Al Raisi (Best Graduate), Terence Thian Chia Hung (Year 2) and Wilson Ting Chun Heng (Year 1), while in the field of Information communication Technology, the recipients were Chua Lee Ching (Best Graduate), Artur Muravyev (Year 2) and Eva Cheong Chiek Hua (Year 1). In addition to being top of their year in their respective fields, all the students have demonstrated excellence in various extracurricular activities both within and outside of the field of ICT.
In addition to Swinburne, the Top graduate Awards are also presented by SAINS to top students of Curtin University, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (i-CATS) and Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Sarawak (PPKS).
