SAINS was proud to welcome students from Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus, to the SAINS Samarahan office as part of Swinburne’s Career and Employment activities. The visit provided the students with a chance to learn more about SAINS and explore career paths in IT.
During the visit, the students were briefed on career opportunities in SAINS by SAINS Human Resource Head Samuel Lee. They were also given insight into some of the potential paths in SAINS by senior members of various sections such as Software and Application Development, Networking and Data Centre Facility Services, Geomatics, and the SAINS Training Centre.
During the later half of the visit, the students also had the opportunity to speak with Swinburne Alumni employed at SAINS to get a better feel of what it is like working in SAINS.
This visit is part of SAINS’s ongoing efforts to work together with local universities to promote the cultivation of local grown ICT talent and encourage the ICT industry in Sarawak.
